Limbo

I feel like I'm there right now.  Hatin' it.  Turned in lots of job applications yesterday. Cross your fingers for me!!! I'll feel way better once I have some interviews lined up!

It has been a crazy week.

Absolutely heartbreaking.

You never expect to see these things happen so close to home.

The place I called home for 6 years was devastated.  Demolished.  My dear friend put it simply, "What is there to complain about when so many of your friends are homeless?"

Heartbreaking. 

Prayers for Tuscaloosa, and the rest of the Southeast. 

Coffee update.

I ordered more coffee tonight. Thought that was worth blogging about. = )

And p.s. I'm on a total Kona kick. Definitely my fave.  I now own 3 different kinds of Kona blends.

Mountains.

I make mountains out of mole hills. . . . basically all the time.  = )  One day I will learn patience.

In other news, it is Friday! Good Friday at that!  Resurrection Day is Sunday.  Glorious.  I am so looking forward to the message on Sunday morning at K2.  I am so blessed to have found that church out here.

I have a lesson in approximately 26 minutes so I really better get going. Ha!

I am going skiing today. = )

Here I am on blogger during class again.  Oh well.  There are worse things in life. 

I have one lecture left for this class. Wonderful. 

Summer break is upon us.  What shall I do? Who the heck knows. 

I'm in a strange mood today.  Frustrated a little.  Maybe I'm just making things a bigger deal than they are.

Next winter better watch out!

So I've officially turned into a ski bum. My legs are killing me! But the good news is I got my money's worth out of my Spring ski pass in about 8 days.  Skiing 6 times in 8 days means for some pretty sore quads!  I'm skiing on longer skis now:  152s, Dynastar legends.  LOVE IT.  Been rocking the blue runs and even took my first black this past weekend!  It was a pretty awesome feeling.  I can't wait til I get really good and can go all over the mountain. 

I'm getting a massage tomorrow, and couldn't be more ready. Its gonna feel awesome.  The massage schools here are awesome.  I'm going to Healing Mountain. It had some pretty awesome reviews on yelp, and an hour massage is only $25!  

Last night was the Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble concert.  I had the opportunity to conduct the Symphonic Band and it was so much fun.  I was honored to be given the opportunity.  The ensemble played great!  I was so proud! 

Normally I would be driving back from the mountain right now, but I decided to give my poor legs a few days break. = )

 This semester is so close to being done!  Holy bless. Next week is the last week of class!  I'm so happy to have some rest and relaxation and free time come up.
